$12.00 per hour



Non-EMT Ambulance Drivers will attend a sponsored EMT-B class to become Licensed in EMS. Once licensed, Drivers will obtain a new title and rate of pay as an EMT Basic.



We're hiring Drivers that will respond to requests for transportation needs and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.



Responsibilities:

* Drivers will respond to operation and dispatch requests and use the necessary tools, maps and addresses to efficiently transport customers to and from facilities in a timely manner.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
* Take pride in maintaining a safe and clean vehicle environment for patients, complete the regular mechanical checklist at the start of shifts and report any vehicle issues to the Fleet Manager as needed.
* Use appropriate communication methods including standard radio transmission codes to effectively respond and route patients and comply with the company's information security standards.
* Drivers will operate transportation equipment including stretchers, as well as be able to use protective personal equipment and manage disposal of supplies as necessary.
* Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow drivers and operations team.



Minimum Required Qualifications:

* State Driver's License with NO restrictions
* High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
* Drug screen (Marijuana is part of the testing panel and will disqualify you from this program)
* Driving record in compliance with company policy
* Work Readiness Agility Test (Perform basic work movements such as lifting basic objects and moving the stretcher)
