Registered Nurse (RN)

SHIFT: Full-Time, Part-Time

STARTING RATE: $33.00/hr. ($33.00 - $35.00/hr., depending upon experience)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A Registered Nurse may supervise duties performed by LPN's and CNA 's in a team care setting under the direction of the Nurse Manager., Nursing Supervisor and/or Director of Nursing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Provide direct care and treatment to long term and rehabilitation residents
* Provide assessment and documentation of residents under their care
* Initiates and administers Intravenous treatments
* Communicates with the Nursing team and Medical team as appropriate
* Reviews and Evaluates the resident care plan
* Transcribes Physician orders
* May assist in orientating new staff
* Maintains competency in all site-specific tasks required by the facility

REQUIREMENTS:

* Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to follow written and verbal instructions
* Physical endurance for frequent activity; ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds
