The Role
  • Contribute to a scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-based system
  • Improve the stack of tools and systems for testing, monitoring, and configuring our platform
  • Manage deployment, platform support and supervise new and existing services
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 2+ years of Java or Python experience
  • Experience working with an event-based architecture e.g
    Kafka
  • Experience working with and configuring CI/CD platforms, e.g
    GitLab
  • Experience architecting, developing, and troubleshooting large scale and distributed systems
  • Experience in managing and scaling distributed systems in a public, private, or hybrid cloud environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms
  • Experience working with and configuring monitoring platforms, e.g
    Prometheus
  • Experience building, testing, and maintaining a micro service architecture
  • Commercial awareness
Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100000-$160000
In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end
