Primary Responsibilities: As a Machine Learning Engineer supporting the SAFFIRE program, you will be working closely with software developers and teams to maintain and sustain deep learning models used in a production MLOps environment
Your role will be critical in maintaining and improving neural network model performances through ever-changing and ever-growing datasets and will require creative thinking and efficient delivery of solutions
You will be a key member of the team, where the rubber meets the road, doing work that matters for some of the U.S
Government's most critical missions, and utilizing the latest technologies in Cloud Computing, AI/ML, and DevSecOps
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:
• A current Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearance and polygraph preferred
* 5+ years of experience in data engineering and cloud data processing services (AWS Cloud)
* Knowledge of neural networks and deep learning models
* Excellent programming skills in Python
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Effective communication skills Desired Skills:
• AWS Certification (Developer, DevOps, Architect, etc.)
* Security+ Certification
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms/databases like ElasticSearch
* Experience with Big Data ingest and processing technologies (ETL, Hadoop, Elasticsearch for Hadoop, SQL schemas and queries, Kafka, Spark)
* Experience with MLOps environments and technologies
* Experience with development in microservice-based architectures
* Knowledge of Neural nets and deep learning models
* Experience with Computer Vision problem sets
