Welcome Summer Nursing Students About Us: Milford Regional Medical Center is a full-service, community and regional teaching hospital, with 145 beds, providing acute-care serving a region of 20-plus towns. Our student nursing assistant staff provide personalized patient care in a warm and caring environment while honing their own clinical skills. Statement of Purpose: The Student Nurse Aide (SNA) is responsible for providing patient care under the direction/supervision of a Registered Nurse. Qualifications: Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing and graduating in either 2025#or 2026.# Preference will be given to students attending local colleges who could potentially work as SNAs for two consecutive summers, as well as school breaks. License/Certifications: BLS Certification. Experience: Must have completed one Med/Surg clinical rotation.
