Nuestras instalaciones de fabricación de bombas de Taneytown, MD, ocupan más de 150.000 pies cuadrados y ofrecen capacidad de ingeniería, diseño, servicio al cliente, mecanizado, montaje y pruebas para una cartera de productos diversa, que sirve a todos los mercados (energía, petróleo y gas, recursos hídricos, industria general y química). Las instalaciones se han ampliado cuatro veces desde su apertura en 1971 para dar cabida al crecimiento de los ingresos y al desarrollo de líneas de productos. Todo el ciclo de vida del proyecto se desarrolla bajo el mismo techo.

Resumen del rol:

Flowserve está buscando un Maquinista en nuestras instalaciones de fabricación en Taneytown, MD. El candidato debe ser competente en la configuración y operación de tornos manuales, con exposición a CNC. El candidato ideal tendrá amplios conocimientos del entorno de fabricación en general para incluir, capaz de trabajar con seguridad, capaz de mecanizar tolerancias +/- .001, rectificado de herramientas de precisión, el uso de puentes grúa, ergonomía y equipos de inspección. Este puesto de maquinista requiere la autoinspección de piezas, la capacidad de utilizar la trigonometría para encontrar dimensiones, la comprensión de las tolerancias geométricas y la capacidad de trabajar de forma segura y eficiente.

2nd turno: Lunes - Viernes 3:30 pm - 2:00 am - 5% diferencial de turno

Responsabilidades:

Maquinista con experiencia en la ejecución de piezas de fundición en máquinas manuales y CNC.

Mantener el área de trabajo limpia y bien organizada en todo momento, manteniendo todas las herramientas y maquinaria para un funcionamiento eficiente y seguro.

Mecanizado preciso con una tolerancia de +/- 0,001 y familiarizado con impresiones con tolerancias geométricas.

Se sentirá cómodo con todo tipo de equipos de medición de precisión y trabajará en los sistemas inglés y métrico.

Experiencia con plumas y puentes grúa para levantar piezas de fundición de gran tamaño.

Comprender y manejar máquinas, herramientas y equipos de medición de forma adecuada y segura.

Cumplir todos los procedimientos y políticas de seguridad. Completar todos los cursos de seguridad Pure Safety y otros cursos de seguridad que se requieran.

Requisitos:

Más de 2 años de experiencia en mecanizado en un entorno de fabricación o reparación manejando tornos manuales, fresadoras o tornos/fresadoras CNC.

Experiencia en el uso e interpretación de instrumentos de medición de precisión, como micrómetros, relojes comparadores y medidores de profundidad.

Capacidad demostrada para leer e interpretar planos, tolerancias geométricas y acabados durante la aplicación del mecanizado.

Capacidad para trabajar en equipo y en un entorno CIP.

Capacidad para leer e interpretar instrucciones y planos

Capacidad para seguir instrucciones complejas verbales y escritas

Capacidad para permanecer de pie durante periodos prolongados, movimientos repetitivos de los brazos, levantamiento frecuente con levantamiento ocasional de hasta 50 lbs.

Capacidad para trabajar horas extras cuando sea necesario

Diploma de escuela secundaria o GED o 3-5 años de experiencia en lugar de la educación

Destrezas preferidas:

Se valorará la certificación, formación o titulación de maquinista relacionada con el mecanizado.

Experiencia en un entorno de fabricación de alta mezcla y bajo volumen

Certificación de carretilla elevadora
