Responsibilities:

* Accountable for direct and indirect age appropriate patient assessment, care planning, patient care, and monitoring of patient outcomes
* Collaborates with all patient care providers and the patient/family in the development of the patient care plan
* Reports patient status to the patient's physician and/or LIP
* Obtains orders for care.
* Provides age appropriate teaching to patients/families with accommodations for their individual learning needs.
* Responsible for mentoring of students, novice nurses and peers.
* Demonstrate safe and competent nursing care that is consistent with Gritman's Mission, Vision, and Values

Requirements:

* Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
* Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing.
* Must have valid Idaho nursing license or compact state nursing license
* BLS and ACLS required. NRP, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC required within one year of employment
* ABLS, ATCN,CEN/CPEN encouraged
