Job Summary Responsible for leading and supporting initiatives to promote a culture of safety and high reliability within Hendrick Health. The Patient Safety Specialist will work closely with leadership, clinical teams, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, implement evidence-based practices, and sustain improvements in patient safety and quality of care. The Patient Safety Specialist will manage the day to day operations of the Patient Safety Program. Promotes a strong patient safety culture.# Provides education to improve patient safety culture and high reliability across the organization. Oversees the organizations compliance with CMS, Joint Commission standards, and LeapFrog standards related to Patient Safety. Job Requirements Minimum Education Bachelor#s degree in related field Minimum Work Experience 3 Years Required Licenses/Certifications Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) # Within 2 years Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Compose applicable policies and procedures. Compose letters/memoranda. Coordinate events. Coordinate meetings. Research information. Develop office procedures. Generate reports. Develop and compile statistical data. Develop program indicators. Job Summary

Minimum Education

* Bachelor's degree in related field
