**Responsibilities**

**Position Summary:**

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ **Equipment Operation** . Perform a variety of diagnostic exams and quality assurance procedures; ensures that nuclear imaging equipment is in optimal working condition.

+ **Patient Care** . Maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients throughout the area; educate patients regarding their procedure and maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for the patient throughout the exam

+ **Documentation** . Maintains clear documentation within radio-pharmacy information systems

**Qualifications**

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

+ Associates or Bachelor of Science Degree from an approved training facility preferred.

+ Must be Board Certified in Nuclear Medicine Technology through the ARRT or NMTCB.

+ Previous Nuclear Medicine experience preferred but not required. New Grads Welcome.

+ Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certification.

+ Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
