Patient Care Associate

Location: New York, NY
Schedule: 8 hours per shift / 5 days per week / rotating weekends: • 11:15 pm - 7:15 am
Pay Rate: $ 26
Duties:
- Under direct supervision of a licensed Nurse or other professional medical staff in a health care setting, performs a variety of clerical and health-related duties associated with patient care; performs related work.
- 2 years of clinic or outpatient PCA experience required
- AHA BLS - required
- Proof of full vaccination required
- A four-year High School Diploma or its educational equivalent; and,
- Successful completion of a NYS Department of Health prescribed training program for Phlebotomy, satisfactory to the Laboratory Director and appropriate to the workload of the facility; and
- Completion of a facility-based training program in the performance of electrocardiographs and basic life support procedures including certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation.
- Staff is required for EVERY OTHER WEEKEND coverage in their schedule.
