We are seeking providers comfortable with a 23 Physician Anesthesiology group, that provides exceptional care to our neighbors in beautiful Omaha, NE. Surrounded by museums, galleries, great restaurants, beautiful parks and universities - our growing city has everything you'll need

Licensed providers with clean malpractice records and ongoing availability to offer 4+ shifts per month are encouraged to apply and become part of our locum tenens shift roster. We are flexible and amenable to your scheduling needs for this assignment with in-house credentialing assistance and full travel/lodging services to complement.

Cases:
  • B&B, General, Ortho, Endo, Light Heads
    • No OB, PEDS, or Hearts
Job Description:
  • Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
  • Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
  • Pre-anesthesia assessment
  • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
  • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient’s physiological condition
  • Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Candidate Requirements: 
  • Active Nebraska State License
  • Graduate of an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
  • Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS
  • Clear personal & professional background
