DutiesAs an Electrical Engineer, some of your typical work assignments may include:Reviewing filings submitted to the Commission and applying knowledge of regulations to identify and analyze reliability issues on the Bulk Power System.  Conducting audits and investigations of the users, owners, and/or operators of the Bulk Power System and determine compliance with NERC Reliability Standards.Conducting investigations, analysis of system disturbances, and analysis of reliability trends, following bulk power system incidents, notifications, requests, or complaints. Providing Bulk Power System engineering analysis for internal assessments and to support other divisions and offices.Supporting and leading teams responsible for drafting Commission orders, performing audits, participating in standards development processes, performing engineering analyses, or conducting investigations that help ensure the reliability of the bulk power system.Preparing research, reports, recommendations, orders, and other decisions for Commission consideration.
