DescriptionVP – IT & Operations SRM - ProcurementThe VP IT & Operations SRM position will work with Chubb’s global internal stakeholders, Procurement leadership and Chubb suppliers to ensure that significant supplier relationships support strategic priorities, drive business objectives, and support expense reduction initiatives. In addition, the VP Supplier Relationship Management will provide consultative support to resolve supplier/Chubb business challenges and conduct data analysis that will be the basis for strategic decision making. This role will engage with assigned professional service suppliers at an account level to ensure day-to-day and business-as-usual supplier engagements are operating in a manner to assure contract compliance and are aligned with Chubb’s best interests.The VP Supplier Relationship Management will be part of the Supplier Relationship Management team focused on driving execution of strategic plans for the enterprise with a goal of optimizing spend, mitigating risk, maximizing savings, and assuring quality and delivery of services to Chubb.This position reports to the VP Supplier Relationship Management within Global Procurement.Primary Responsibilities:·       Understand Master Service Agreements and key statements of work terms and conditions in order to guide delivery and performance objectives in partnership with business stakeholders.·       Understand relevant business strategy and objectives. Identify operational/performance risks and mitigations in partnership with business owners.·       Work with VP – Supplier Relationship Management to develop best practice framework for supplier engagement such as opportunity selection, proposal/SOW negotiation, solution design, transition and BAU supplier delivery management.·       Work with business owners on issue escalation/resolution, supplier performance management, and SLAs.·       Manage internal stakeholder relationships and work with Chubb management to execute strategy in their respective areas and execute on identified opportunities.·       Engage with suppliers on account-level challenges or jointly with business stakeholders as needed on SLAs, productivity commitments, and governance activities.·       Facilitate Working Groups to share best practices across the organization and provide information relevant to business owners and other stakeholders.Qualifications·       Bachelor’s Degree with a business major or equivalent preferred·       Minimum of 7 years’ business/operations experience in financial services or insurance; 3 years within sourcing with practical experience within the full lifecycle of professional services transactions.·       Subject matter expertise in outsourcing industry and/or shared services.·       Lean/Six Sigma, process optimization, transformation, automation project exposure a plus.·       Proven track record for the coordination of a new sourcing engagements for various business functions, i.e. finance, claims, operations.·       Strong process analysis and analytical skills including ability to use data to drive decision making.·       Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement.·       Exceptional ability to influence stakeholders and drive groups with divergent opinions toward effective, collaborative decisions.·       Strong verbal and written communication and influencing skills.·       Ability to effectively summarize program status and create PowerPoint presentations for an executive audience.·       Ability to navigate a global matrixed organization, influence stakeholders, and affect outcomes.·       Ability to gain trust and influence with limited direct authority.·       Ability to think outside the box, multitask, and work well under pressure, to identify issues and work to resolve them in partnership with business leaders.·       Travel international and in the US may be required – 10%·       Location-Primary Jersey City, NJ/Northeast officesJob Field: Operations & Customer ServiceTravel: No
