Certified within 6 months of hire# Major Responsibilities: Provides strength and conditioning and sport specific training to teams, small groups, individuals and community groups as outlined in programs. Understands pre-season, in-season and post season strength and conditioning programs and sport specific criteria to maintain maximum physical conditioning for all age levels. Provides a# comprehensive assessment and evaluation# to identify overall strength, movement,# screen for dysfunction and provide education in injury prevention. May assist in the clinic as a rehab support staff member under the direction of a therapist. Renders first aid when appropriate. Makes appropriate referrals to hospital, physician or other healthcare personnel. May participate in lectures, conferences and community events as needed. Collaborates with other personnel and works under the supervision of the Sports Performance Coordinator. Follows program guidelines and expectations as outlined. Maintains proper certifications and competencies. Attends departmental meetings and training seminars. Promotes and designs programs, services and works to generate leads to promote facility services and programs through marketing efforts. Assists with record keeping and data entry. Performs all other duties as assigned or requested. #
