Cardiac Step-Down Registered Nurse Job Requirements: - Associate Nursing Degree (Bachelor’s Degree Preferred) - Valid RN License About North Knoxville Medical Center North Knoxville Medical Center, an 116-bed acute care hospital (expanding in 2024), was the first outpatient hospital campus in the Powell, Tennessee area for cancer care, imaging and women’s services. The center offers: - Cancer diagnostics, treatment, and support services - Interventional cardiology services; advanced imaging services - A brand new (as of December 2021) cardiac rehabilitation program - Women’s diagnostic services and educational programs We offer private patient rooms with dedicated family areas. In addition, the hospital has technologically advanced information and communications systems, decentralized nursing stations for better efficiency and patient care, and noise-reduction materials to provide patients with a more comfortable experience.
