SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST with Security Clearance

Summary You will serve as a Supply Systems Analyst in the Nuclear Material Assessment and Analysis Branch, Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD
Duties
• You will analyze quality data using QPS, other software and other databases to determine areas needing improvement.
• You will perform manpower reviews in the context of knowledge, skills, abilities, speed, volume and quality requirements of the work process as opposed to cost effectiveness and training potential of the Nuclear Material Division.
• You will monitor and coordinate the implementation of new and revised plans, policies, and procedures that affect the Nuclear Material Division functions.
• You will plan, develop and conduct internal review studies of interrelated functions of the nuclear material organization to ensure compliance with local and other activities policies and procedures.
• You will conduct classroom and practical instruction using a variety of instructional techniques and methods.
• You will perform budget fund administration functions on the execution of an annual budget for the Nuclear Material Manager Division.
• You will prepare budget augmentation and budget variances to ensure and operable budget with labor (direct and indirect) and material dollars.
• You will prepare a variety of reports covering the status of funds, expenses, and obligations as required by the Controller Department and the Nuclear Material Manager
Requirements Conditions of Employment

• You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g
fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals)
You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
* Experience assisting in nuclear material functions, major issues, program goals objectives in support of naval nuclear propulsion programs;
* Experience analyzing quality data using QPS, and other software databases to determine areas needing improvement;
* Experience monitoring and coordinating implementation of plans, policies, and procedures that affect the Nuclear Material Division functions of planning, procurement, receipt inspection, storage, control, issue and disposal related to naval nuclear propulsion program support;
* Experience testing and measuring techniques and procedures to develop evaluation guidelines and examinations for instructional purposes;
