If so, we have an exciting opportunity for youOur client is seeking an Offshore Procurement & Contract Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing and negotiating contracts related to our offshore wind projects. We're looking for someone with in-depth knowledge of the offshore wind sector or US Offshore sector, as well as experience negotiating installation contracts related to offshore wind projects.As our ideal candidate, you'll have at least 10 years of experience in negotiations, with at least 5 years' experience negotiating T&I or EPC/EPCI contracts worth $50M or more. You'll also have a sound knowledge of procurement processes and claim prevention, as well as team management and procurement strategy development skills.In this role, you'll lead in issuing request-for-proposals (RFPs) related to procuring technologies/equipment and related services, negotiate procurement contracts, and develop procurement strategies and tender packages for each procurement need. You'll also be responsible for reporting and presenting to leadership and stakeholders, sourcing and managing RFIs, and building relationships with key players in the offshore renewable energy industry.We're looking for someone who can work successfully with multiple people from all types of fields of expertise in a high-paced JV environment, manage multiple contractor relationships simultaneously, and handle multiple concurrent projects with ease.If you have proven organizational skills, advanced experience with Microsoft Office 365, and outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, we want to hear from youThis role does require some travel, but it's worth it to be a part of such an exciting and important project. If you're ready to make a real difference and help build a sustainable future, apply todayRequired experience:In-depth knowledge of the offshore wind sector or US Offshore sector.Minimum of 10 years' experience in negotiations, both contractual and commercial, with at least 5 years of experience in the negotiation of T&I or EPC/EPCI (50M$+ contracts).Sound knowledge of the procurement process, with an understanding of claim prevention.Experience in negotiating contracts related to offshore wind projects such as BIMCO, or experience negotiating EPCI contract such as FIDIC for main packages such as Foundation, Subsea cable, Offshore Substation, WTG foundation, Transition Piece.The ability to manage a team and develop a procurement strategy for tenders.Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and track progress and needs of each project and provide accurate and timely updates.Demonstrated experience in sourcing and managing RFIs, as well as tracking market trends and roadmaps for technologies and services.Experience in bringing contracting best practices into an organization from experience in contracting similar services.Ability to travel every other month to a separate Atlantic Shores or parent office for 3-5 days at a time, as well as travel to fabrication sites, installation vessels, and vendor offices as needed.NegotiableBoston, MassachusettsRenewable Energy & Clean Tech
