Job Summary:

Chesapeake, VA

Interim HealthCare is currently seeking a full-time Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse (RN) in Chesapeake, Virginia to join our team This is a full time day shift contract with the pay rate of $51 per hour. You must have at least 2 years of recent and relevant experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

* Hourly rate of $51
* Paid weekly
* Flexible schedule

Responsibilities:

* Monitor cardiac patients' conditions, assess any changes, and take appropriate actions
* Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
* Educate patients and their families on cardiac care and self-care techniques
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
* Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on patients' conditions
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patients' medical records
* Follow all safety and infection control procedures
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:

* Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac nursing
* BLS and ACLS certifications
* Experience with cardiac monitoring equipment and interpretation of rhythm strips
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
* Must pass a background check and drug screening
