RN Freestanding Emergency Room - McAllen, Edinburg, Mission Texas Sign on And Relo Available

Role: Freestanding Emergency Room Nurse

Shifts: Days: 7a-7p, Nights: 7p-7a

No of positions available: 5

Sign on Bonus : $20k for Mission, TX ; McAllen & Edinburg Case by case.

Relocation : Case by case depends upon the distance

Roles and Responsibilities :
• You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for assigned patients presented to the Emergency Room
• You will be responsible for meeting the Standards of Practice for the Emergency Department and managing all assigned personnel, supplies and equipment.
• You will participate in activities to plan, measure, assess and improve the quality of patient care.
• You will routinely provide triage assessment for patients presenting for treatment.
• Will will provide intervention in emergency, life-threatening situations.
• You will assume the responsibility of charging the department, as needed.

What qualifications you will need:
• Registered Nurse Bachelor's Degree, or Associate Degree.
• Someone who has previous FSED experience. At least 6 months of recent ED experience preferred
• Candidates have to understand the difference in resource availability between a main ED and an FSED.
• Must be an experienced RN who is comfortable with triage, coordinating transfers out, STEMI, Sepsis, Stroke, and Trauma patients.
• ACLS, NIH, TNCC, ENPC or PALS, BLS or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
