FORVIS Washington National Tax Office (WNTO) exists to unlock the full potential of the FORVIS tax practice and the clients they serve. We do this through thoughtful collaboration and an uncommon commitment to technical excellence which allows us to provide unique insights on tax issues, develop innovative forward-thinking solutions to address complex tax needs and build intentional relationships within the tax community.As the Knowledge Transfer Strategist for FORVIS WNTO you will have the opportunity to increase recognition of the FORVIS brand as a national thought leader.  Members of WNTO have a deep understanding of tax issues and proactively follow evolving legislation, guidance, and case law.  As the Knowledge Transfer Strategist you will collaborate with other members of the WNTO, and the broader FORVIS team, to produce timely, relevant and insightful tax content and develop a distribution strategy based on creating valuable connection points with FORVIS clients and the market place. If you can demonstrate an uncommon commitment to excellence, possess a practical ability to understand, apply and communicate tax matters, enjoy working collaboratively, and have a passion for making tax people famous this may be the position for youHow you will contribute: Developing and implementing the FORVIS tax thought leadership strategyDriving creation of valuable knowledge share content from insights and analysis on evolving legislation, guidance and case law identified by other WNTO members and the broader tax practiceBuilding the FORVIS network of key relationships internal and externalConverting the tax insights and observations of WNTO members into valuable connection pointsSupporting communications and marketing around new service offeringsCommunicating tax strategies and solutions to non-tax service linesProviding guidance regarding what knowledge to share, the extent of sharing, with whom to share, and the optimal platforms for sharingMaking FORVIS people famous for the thought leadership they provideWe are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to understand and clearly communicate complex and evolving tax issues to the marketplaceStrong organizational and project management skills with an ability to get things doneMeticulous attention to detailDemonstrated aptitude for building relationships and creating valuable connection pointsProficiency in design thinking and top-down thinkingStrong understanding of communication channels and frameworksContinuous learning and a commitment to excellencePassion for serving and developing othersMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation or Juris Doctor7 or more years of experience working with a large accounting firm, law firm, relevant tax policy making entity or a publisher of technical materials in the areas of law and taxationExperience authoring and/or editing articles on accounting, finance or tax issuesPreferred Qualifications: CPA license and/or J.D. / L.L.M
