Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.Responsibilities include:Provide direct supervision activities, including completion of performance goals and reviews, assigning work scope to employees and ensuring employees operate according to company policies and proceduresPromote the professional development of the Financial Analysts and foster a collaborative culture that sustains the momentum around employee engagement, innovation, and continuous improvementEnsure team fully understands their roles and impact on financial resultsFinancial oversight of the Tactical Systems Product Line for forecasting, Estimate at Complete preparation, External financial reporting and Earned Value Management complianceWork with Business Area Managers to develop quarterly, annual and five year financial forecasts in Hyperion for the Tactical Systems portfolio.Provide financial guidance to the Business Area Leads and the Program Management TeamsEstablish strong partnerships with cross-functional Team Members in the organizationCollaborate with Accounting, Pricing, Government Compliance, and Financial PlanningReview cost estimates for Tactical Systems Proposals, ensuring that proposals are financially sound and risks are understood and margins are achievableProvide analytical data and recommendations for improvementPerform resource management planning, ensuring maximum utilization of personnelMonitor and analyze monthly financial performance against forecast and plan and provide insights to senior leadership and stakeholdersDevelop and implement financial strategies that support the overall objectives of the organization.Assist with Internal and External Financial AuditsRequired Education, Experience, & Skills Experience in the Defense IndustryProject Finance experience working with various contract typesEarned Value Management experience including reporting to the Government and/or Government ContractorsProposal experience including capture and negotiation strategyAbility to develop and implement solutions to complex problemsDemonstrated in-depth analytical skillsStrong interpersonal skills to influence and lead diverse work teamsAbility to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environmentStrong decision-making skills compliant with policies and proceduresAbility to communicate across functions and levels of ManagementAbility to present financial data across functions and levels of Management in an accurate, concise, and understandable mannerSkilled in implementing effective processes and controlsStrong Mentoring skillsExperience with Financial Planning and ForecastingProficient in Microsoft OfficePreferred Education, Experience, & Skills Knowledge of Cobra, Hyperion/Smartview, ProPricer, and Oracle ERPAbility to improve knowledge of/challenge industry practices, standards, and company policiesPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $120560 - $204930Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
