Job Description

Work Schedule:

100% FTE. Primarily Monday - Friday, no weekends. Eight hour shifts between the hours of 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.

We are seeking a Denial Management Nurse to:
  • Be part of a dynamic team to manage clinical denials from payors.
  • Use your expert clinical knowledge to resolve medical necessity denials to help organization capture revenue.
  • Combine utilization management knowledge and gain knowledge about claims and revenue cycle operations.
  • Combine clinical, business, and regulatory knowledge and skill to reduce financial risk.
  • You should enjoy problem-solving and have the ability to write effective letters.

Education:

Minimum - BSN Degree in Nursing or other relevant healthcare field.

Preferred - Master's Degree in Nursing or other relevant healthcare filed.

Work Experience:

Minimum - Three (3) years' experience working within case management, utilization management or denial management.

Preferred - Experience with business letter writing, e.g., appeals.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a

jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact.

Preferred - Certification in area of specialty or eligible for certification.
