Responsibilities

* Delivers radiation therapy treatments.
* Performs manual calculations.
* Fabricates custom shielding blocks.
* Able to perform Q.A. checks adn warm-up Linear Accelerators.
* Maintains constant communicationwith patients and family members to lend support and provide information concerning treatment.
* Ensures that all efforts are directed in constantly improving customer (e.g. patient and physician) satisfaction.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

* Graduate of an approved school of radiation therapy technology or a school of radiologic technology and one year radiation therapy program.
* Must be registered by the American REgistry of Radiologic Technology in Radiation Therapy and licensed by the State of Texas.

Preferred Job Requirements:

* Two years of experience.
