About the role

Our Norwich, NY location is part of our Applied Health and Nutrition Division and one of our specialty sites that creates proteins, lactose, coatings, and flavors. The location lies within Chenango County and is advantageously located within a 50-mile radius of the major cities of Binghamton, Syracuse, Utica, Cooperstown and Oneonta.

$19/hr + $2.50 Shift Dif

Nights are 7:15pm to 7:45am

The starting wage for this role is $19.00 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).

Key responsibilities

Individual would need to learn all equipment and processes in manufacturing as needed.

* Operator is responsible for operating and helping with all blenders, packaging, batch setting, filtration devices, TRS, HTST's, cooler, heater, evaporators, dryer and CIP systems.
* Individual is responsible for master sanitation in their area.   
* Perform in-process testing according to approved methods to ensure finished product meets targeted specifications.  
* Fill out master batch records on time and in a neat, orderly fashion according to GMP's.
* Individual should be able to operate forklift truck in a safe manner and use proper safety measures.
* Must be able to lift 55 lbs.
* Individual will be responsible for ensuring all transactions in SAP are accurate.

Qualifications and skills
