Job Summary
- This position at the Lakeland Clinic includes providing efficient, quality support to the physicians/mid-level providers.
- Provide safe, competent care while enhancing the care to all ages of patients in Family Practice areas.
- Facilitates patient flow.
- Provides direct care to patients under the direction of provider within scope of practice including chronic disease management.
- Maintains emergency equipment and other resources needed to provide safe, high quality patient care. Supports provider practice by utilizing the nursing process and R.N. skills.
- Provides management of pharmacy refill program for patients.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) current license in the state of Minnesota required.
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to work well with team members and act as a leader for the nursing department clinical staff.
- Good communication, computer, documentation, and time management skills.
- Nursing RN assessment skills as well as procedural skills within scope of practice.
