Requirements:
- NH License
- Must have 2 years medsurg experience
- Skills: Med/Surg, Feeding tube care and management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, starting IVs, Nasal Cannula, EPIC
- BLS
- CPI, MS/Tele preferred
Other Details:
- UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Omnicell, EPIC, bedside standardized shift report
- No first time travelers
- Floating Expectations
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
- Travelers within 50 miles of facility
REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years (Must have two years medsurg experience)
Traveler Experience: No first time travelers
Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Travelers within 50 miles of facility will receive $15 rate decrease

Target Ratios: 1:5-6
Shift: 12hr Nights 7p-7:30a. 36hrs accepted
Call Requirement: None
Float Requirement: EOW, Floating Expectations • Helping Hands/ Team Nursing approach • Will assist in being Floated to ICU, ED, and other Medsurg Units • Patient Sitting You will not take a patient that does not match your clinical assignment or team
Weekend Requirement: EVERY OTHER WEEKEND REQUIRED.
RTO Requirements: Must work 2/3 major winter holidays. Unit cannot approve both 12/24 and 12/25 off if requested, only one day for Christmas permitted

UNIT ORIENTATION: 36 hours - 1st day: tour, computer modules and then floor when finished. Day 2&3 - on floor with a nurse
SCRUBS: Any
