Title: Registered Nurse: ER

Job Type: Permanent

Shift: Nights (12*3)

Location: Plano, TX

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Providing emergency nursing care to patients presenting with various acute medical conditions and injuries.

- Assessing, triaging, and prioritizing patient needs based on severity of condition.

- Administering medications, treatments, and interventions as directed by physicians.

- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure timely and comprehensive patient care.

- Educating patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.

- Communicating effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to facilitate care coordination.

- Documenting all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.

 

Qualifications:

- Current RN license in the state of Texas.

- A minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency room setting is preferred.

- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
