Position Duties/Responsibilities
• You will establish and maintain an Information Assurance (IA) process monitoring program to ensure ongoing compliance with all IA policies, procedures and practices.
* You will review the results of the monitoring program and initiate and recommend corrective actions as appropriate for any identified deficiencies in the policies, processes, and practices or in the monitoring program.
* You will establish and operate a program to conduct monitoring and analysis of the IT systems in areas of security, intrusion, detection and systems vulnerabilities.
* You will conduct investigations of these incidents and report the results to the appropriate chain of command and to the law enforcement authorities in accordance with established policy.
* You will develop, maintain and execute a process to monitor IA related training, certification and authorization requirements for personnel with access to IT systems.
* You will utilize formal and informal methodologies to socialize information related to IA best practices, policy changes, etc
among the personnel with access to the IT systems.
* You will be available to the user community to answer general questions and provide authoritative guidance related to IA policy and practice
