Speech-Language Pathologist

Requirements:

* Graduate of a school of Speech-Language Pathology with a Certificate of Clinical Competence. Masters' degree required.
* Preferred experiences in Adult & geriatric care. Setting to include inpatient acute care and/or outpatient. Including diagnosis: Musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, integumentary.
* Florida license or eligible for Florida license.
* Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider (CPR & AED) certification.

About the Job:

Provides patients with speech, language and swallow evaluations and treatments in accordance with established policies, procedures, and state laws. Assists in departmental operation and acts as leader for other staff members. Participates in community health services sponsored by ShorePoint Health Punta Gorda. Reports directly to: Rehabilitation Clinical Manager & Director of Rehabilitation Services.
