We have an important core mission, which is to deliver global audiences the freedom to access content on their terms across any connected device, time or location.Job Summary:Disney Entertainment’s DTC FP&A Team is seeking a Senior Manager to join the team, reporting to the Director, FP&A. This role will be heavily involved in partnering with the Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ and other DTC lines of business to consolidate subscribers, financials, and other KPIs to convey the story of the DTC business. The Senior Manager will be expected to work independently and respond to the dynamic environment with a positive demeanor.What You Will Do:Lead financial consolidations for Direct-to-Consumer businesses during key planning cycles, including forecast, Annual Operating Plan & LRPChampion innovation and develop new methods to deliver more timely data visualizations and insights to senior executivesContribute to the preparation and analysis of the consolidated Annual Operating Plan and Disney Streaming forecasts, including senior management presentationsActively work with key stakeholders, operating groups, and finance team members to improve the effectiveness of the financial planning process, assumptions and results while analyzing forecast information to identify trends, and develop key storylinesLiaise with Segment and Investor Relations to illustrate financial & metric narrative ahead of earnings callsEngage in ad-hoc financial analysis to support executive requestsProactively identify, recommend, and drive improvements for existing models and processesRequired Qualifications & Skills:7+ years of relevant work experiencePrevious experience leading/manging Junior employeesVery strong analytical skills with experience identifying and resolving issuesHigh level of proficiency with PowerPoint and ExcelAbility to work cross functionally, managing many stakeholders and building relationships throughout the companyProactive and creative in approaching problems and presenting financial dataExtremely organized with the ability to prioritize activities, manage timelines, and deal effectively with pressurePreferred Qualifications:A good understanding of the entertainment industry and Direct-to-Consumer business modelsPrior experience in financial/ business planning or finance; preferably working in or with large organizationsPrior experience with financial systems such as SAP and CognosExperience with data transformation and visualization tools such as PowerQuery and Power BIEducation:BA/BS (focus on Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative field a plus)The hiring range for this position in NY is $151,800.00-$189,700.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
