LCS Dallas Operations is recruiting for a hospitality focused Regional Clinical Specialist provides services in accordance with company policies to establish and provide assistance to further ensure the clinical success in LCS equity and managed communities. The Clinical Specialist is responsible for assisting LCS communities in the global implementation and training of the LCS clinical programs and protocols, benchmarks and standards, federal and state regulatory compliance and best practices in the delivery of quality care. The Clinical Specialist will serve as the clinical liaison assisting the communities on-site as well as remotely. This position assists Signature Pointe, Autumn Leaves, Walnut Place, and Parkwood Healthcare which are the communities within the LCS Dallas Operations porfolio.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Clinical Specialist:

* Participate in clinical community administrative staff interviews as requested by LCS community leaders
* Monitor/audit assigned communities for on-going compliance in State and Federal regulations and the application of accepted nursing standards of clinical practice.
* Provide and/or assist with the development and/or implementation of action plans based on trended survey data, plans of correction, and quality assurance reports.
* May establish appropriate policies, procedures and practices with nursing and administrative staff.
* Must have the ability to write accurate and quantifiable reports that will serve as clear action plans for communities and complete reports in a timely manner.
* Must be fiscally responsible with company and community finances and present accurate and validated expense reports, per company policy.
* Support the OIG Corporate Compliance Program.
* Support HIPAA compliance.
* Work with and make recommendations regarding ancillary providers and CPS vendors to ensure accurate, cost effective, and quality service.
* Analyze clinical data and provides suggestions for improved clinical outcomes.
* Assist in the training and education for clinical systems to improve resident care.
* Assist with the development of clinical education and training programs.
* Assist with corporate training and education programs.
* Endorse and supports LCS branded programs: Heartfelt Connections, Health and Wellness Navigation, Extraordinary Impressions, and Lifestyle and Health Services Health and Wellness.
* Provide appropriate nurse consulting services as needed in a crisis situation.
* Monitor/audit community for on-going compliance.
* Performs specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Must have a valid registered nursing license.
* Minimum 5 years experience in Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living preferred
* Nursing Leadership and Consulting experience preferred.
* Thorough understanding of all clinical State and Federal compliance areas.
* Solid knowledge of OIG Guidelines and working knowledge of HIPAA.
* Ability to develop training programs for Administrators and DONs.
* Ability to develop benchmarks and trending data for an individual community and LCS corporately using regulatory survey reports, quality measure reports, LCS programs, and standards.
* Ability to write clear quantifiable reports that will serve as clear action plans for communities.
* Must be highly articulate and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to handle multiple priorities and stay focused on prioritizing work.
