Description:

Unit: MS Float Pool - Sat, Sun, Mon

This position is for blocked weekends. Please confirm upon submittal your traveler is OK with the blocked weekend schedule.

Nurse manager will call to interview traveler. Please prepare them for a live phone interview.

Requirements:
*VA State license or compact in hand
*NIH, BLS Required. ACLS preferred. Ok to submit without.
*ALL RTO must be provided at Submittal. NM will not approve additional RTO after an offer is given.
*Recent MS, MS/Tele, MS Float pool experience required.
*RTO Blackout - 4/1/24 - 4/5/24

Shift Information:
*Blocked weekends, Fri-Sun
*Float Pool RN will be expected to float to the following units: 4 Medical, 2 Gen Surg, 2 Neuro, Ortho, Oncology, ED
*Typical ratios: Days 1:5; Nights 1:6

RN will be given a schedule 4 weeks in advance. Facility tries to schedule RN on the same 1-2 units so they can gain familiarity, however they may be pulled to any unit within the complex. RN's should not be pulled more than once per 12-hour shift (and will rarely be pulled mid-shift).
