Inpatient oncology unit. Oncology experience required. Chemo certification not required

Duties
As a Registered Nurse in the Oncology department, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and comprehensive care to patients with cancer. Your primary duties will include:

- Administering chemotherapy treatments and medications as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring and assessing patients' physical and emotional well-being
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educating patients and their families about treatment options, side effects, and self-care techniques
- Assisting with pain management and symptom control
- Performing procedures such as catheterization and wound care
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting any abnormalities to the healthcare team
- Documenting patient information accurately and maintaining medical records
- Adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a safe environment for patients
