Planer Operator - THREE DAY WEEKENDS

We are looking for a safety conscience, reliable Planer Operator who thrives working around wood and understands the lumber industry or wants to learn. This career opportunity could allow you to enjoy three-day weekends
Pay: Starting at $21.89/hour
Shift: Monday through Thursday, 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Three day weekends
Responsibilities:
- Serve as Planer backup for other employees
- Trim end puller and pull chain operator
- Monitor sticker stacker machine
- Notify foreman of any quality problems and any mechanical or electrical problems
- Stack lumber and tally lumber units
- Fill out inventory tickets and edits computer generated inventory tickets
- Sort off-grade and damaged lumber
- Secure lumber units and paper wrap units assisting bander
- Clean and shovel snow under the planer infeed as needed
- Operate forklift, floor sweeper and water truck
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, required
- Knowledge of lumber quality and grades, preferred
- Experience operating machinery, preferred
