SUMMARY: The Bridgewater Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking Certified Sterile Processing Department Technician to perform all functions of Sterile Processing. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides instruments, equipment, and endoscopes used at the facility that are processed per manufacturers# instructions for use (IFU), and in accordance with nationally recognized guidelines (AAMI ST79; AAMI ST 91, CDC, APIC). Provides required documentation of processing to ensure quality and to meet state and Federal requirements. # REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma is required.# Certification is Sterile Processing is required.# Certification in Endoscopy Processing is Preferred. Minimum 2 years employment in a Sterile processing Department is required. Must achieve and maintain certification as a Central Services Technician with the state organization or a national association.### Must have a tho## rough knowledge of aseptic techniques and procedures, sterilization techniques and procedures, infection control and work-flow principles and requirements, equipment and supply processing; demonstrate and exercise responsible judgment to provide necessary supplies and equipment for patient care.# Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.# Use of sterilizers (steam, Sterrad) as well as endoscope processor.# Ability to handle high stress, high volume.

SUMMARY:

The Bridgewater Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking Certified Sterile Processing Department Technician to perform all functions of Sterile Processing.
