POSITION OVERVIEW

Responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures

EDUCATION

* Nuclear Medicine School graduate, required

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS

* BLS, required
* ARRT or NMTCB certified, required

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

* Working knowledge of nuclear medicine technology principles and procedures.
* Working knowledge of radiation safety requirements for staff and patients.
* Skill in injection of radiopharmaceuticals for imaging procedure.
* Keyboarding and the use of computer systems to process patient and department information,
* Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when conduction nuclear medicine procedures.
* Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position
