Responsibilities:
· Performing trials designed to improve the material properties of profiles we produce.
· Trouble shooting Resin formulations for better chemical properties affecting profiles
· Support Continuous Improvement initiatives for the chemical aspects pertaining to production.
· Maintaining accurate, up-to-date recipes of the >100 different resin formulations.
· Writing procedures for our resin mixers to convert one resin formulation into another.
· Working with our resin mixers to ensure resin formulations are being mixed as described.
· Working with our pultrusion operators to ensure the resins are performing as designed.
· Performing quality inspections of incoming raw materials.
· Performing quality inspections of mixed resin formulations.
Requirements:
1 or more years of Chemistry Materials Experience (preferred)
A related degree to this field (preferred)
2 year degree (must have)
4 year degree (preferred)
Ability to work in a fast pace environment
Ability to work hands on (>50% of the time)
Additional job duties necessary for position function that may exceed the job description
Compensation details: 20-24 Hourly Wage
