Qualifications:

Required:

+ Registration in New Jersey as a pharmacist; current New Jersey licensure required,

+ Completion of course at an accredited School of Pharmacy, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD,

Preferred:

+ Hospital pharmacy experience desirable,

Certifications and Licenses Required:

+ Licensed NJ Pharmacist

+ Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

Scheduling Requirements:

+ Days, 22.5 hours/week

+ Part-Time Schedule

Essential Functions:

+ The pharmacist is responsible for the provision of pharmaceutical care to all patient age groups including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric and neonatal patients,

+ They are responsible for the preparation, dispensing and monitoring of both the prescribing and effectiveness of all medications and IV admixtures,

+ They exercise considerable independent decision making,
