Duties
• Serves as the Army Materiel Command (AMC), G-2 Deputy Chief of Staff providing administrative and technical supervision to assigned branch personnel in support of AMC's Acquisition-Intelligence mission.
• Monitors foreign weapons developments and trends, providing analysis, dissemination, and use of foreign intelligence and threat information that could impact Army programs in sustainment.
• Serves as a member of the Intelligence Division Briefing Team and researches, builds, and delivers executive level multi-visual briefings to the AMC Commander, subordinate general officers, and AMC Senior Executive Service (SES) senior leaders.
• Initiates, develops, manages, and coordinates the effective implementation of intelligence policies and procedures to support Army and AMC logistic and sustainment Acquisition-Intelligence requirements.
• Manages the Army Foreign Materiel Program (FMP) for all AMC Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs).
• Works with the Intelligence Community (IC) to develop threat estimates and projections, and produces predictive analytics focused on ACQ-INTEL activities.
• Performs supervisory duties involving preparing formal evaluations of personnel performance; recommending promotions, reassignments, and awards; and overseeing position workforce management
Requirements Conditions of Employment
• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
• In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
• This position is designated KEY

• Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450 (See Additional Information Section).
• May require overtime work, shift work, and/or work on rotating shifts to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, and in other situations.
• Temporary duty (TDY) travel is required 20% of the time.
• Must obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI security clearance

Specialized experience: To qualify, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which prepared you to do the work in this job
Specialized experience is defined as experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge intelligence capability and requirements analysis to develop, analyze, and evaluate new or emerging military intelligence requirements
This includes experience performing a combination of all of the following: 1
Developing and defining threat intelligence for concepts and capability needs within the Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS) processes
AND 2
Experience preparing and disseminating intelligence reports/briefings on current threat developments, threat input to test planning, foreign counterpart systems and technology, and foreign materiel acquisition and exploitation
AND 3
Experience planning and/or coordinating research from multiple sources to produce recommendations on threat intelligence for capabilities and requirements development and sustainment of systems
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the federal service (GG/GS-13)
Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations
This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled
This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data in support of acquisition programs.
