REGISTERED NURSE

Shift: Evening, Monday - Friday 2:00pm to 10:30pm with every other weekend rotation. Can do 4-day, 12-hour shifts if candidates prefer.
Differentials: +$2 for evening, night shift, and weekend differential.

Position Overview: The primary purpose of the RN is to provide direct nursing care to residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Medication Administration Aides (MAAs). Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services or Nurse Supervisor to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assessing resident needs.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure the highest level of care and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Participate in staff meetings, in-service training, and continuing education opportunities to enhance professional development.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of resident care and progress.
Qualifications:
- Valid Wisconsin RN license in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably coming from a long-term care or nursing home facility.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a diverse team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate care and enhancing the quality of life for seniors.
