We choose to operate in areas where we know we can have the most impact, bringing together diverse perspectives to challenge the status quo and advance science.The Opportunity:The US Dia Commercial Finance (RDC) team is seeking an inspiring and systems thinking leader for our Diabetes Care rebates and chargebacks team. The role will also include leading and partnering across RDC on both financial strategic and tactical topics to improve operational efficiencies and understanding of financial impact of business strategies.Accountabilities:Lead a team of analysts to manage the point of sale rebate and chargeback accrual processLead the regular Rebate Review Committee process, including managing rebate and chargeback accruals and true upsAnalyze, explain, and summarize gross to net forecast vs actual variances for management reportingAccountable for $700m+ in annual rebate payments to customers while managing the related profit, forecasting and cash flow implicationsServe as a primary point of contact with internal and external auditors to ensure the highest level of compliance and execution given the scope, complexity and materiality of our underlying business modelLead projects across RDC in support of financial strategies and operational efficiencies.Build collaborative partnerships with  key stakeholdersSelect, develop, and evaluate employees including key decisions on onboarding activities to ensure the efficient operation of the functionEnable the team to be innovative and influential partners with the business Develop and monitor trends and KPIs and address root causesKey Leadership responsibilities:As a leader within the finance organization, you cultivate a purpose-driven culture of inclusion, agility and excellenceYou lead your team as a visionary, architect, coach and catalyst (VACC) within FiCoE (Finance Center of Excellence)As a member of FiCoE, you are accountable to deliver short term financial targets while creating sustainable value in the long termProvide insights, financial and business analysis for enabling enterprise and functional outcomes, and steering and monitoring of holistic company performanceEnable financial flexibility and ensure optimal allocation of valuable resources to aligned, prioritized outcomesDrive finance processes, delivering high quality and compliant financials required to support short and long-term planning, reporting, and decision-makingCollaborate across the broader Roche organization to co-create solutions that ensure broad and equitable access of our diagnostics to patients and provide value to our customersWho you are:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business related field.5 years of progressive Finance, Accounting, or related experience.Prior leadership experience with direct people leadership responsibilityPreferred Qualifications:8 years of Diagnostics industry experience with Diabetes Care as a plusA systems thinking leader who inspires and empowers a team in effective operations and who leads and partners on across RDC on process improvement projects and financial impact of business strategies.Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles and practices – GAAP or IAS & auditingExcellent stakeholder engagement skills and able to influence and interact across multiple roles and levelsEnd-to-end thinker who drives innovative improvements to business processes, systems, and behaviorStrong analytical skills, problem solving ability, and efficiencyimprovement mindset8 years of Diagnostics industry experience with Diabetes Care as a plusStrong business acumen, process development, and projectmanagement skillsSAP knowledge/system capabilitiesRelocation benefits are not available for this job posting.The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $110,100 and $204,500.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.BenefitsWho we areAt Roche, more than 100,000 people across 100 countries are pushing back the frontiers of healthcare.
