Ankeny, Iowa

Full-time Benefit Package

Shift: Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm

w/Occassional Sat or Sun AM rotation for newborn clinic

$5,000.00 Sign-on Bonus

Responsibilities

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Nurse to join our clinic dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to pediatric patients. As a Pediatric Nurse, you will work closely with children and their families, delivering comprehensive care, and promoting wellness. Your expertise and caring demeanor will contribute significantly to the well-being of our young patients.

* Room patients and obtain vital signs.
* Assist provider with patient examination, treatment and minor surgical procedures.
* May perform specimen collection, phlebotomy and specimen analysis.
* Medication and/or vaccine administration.
* Care Coordination via medication refills, prior authorizations and referral scheduling.
* Test result management and tracking as determined by provider.
* Return patient calls and inquiries via phone or patient portal.

Qualifications

* Current License to Practice, RN/LPN (State of Iowa)
* High school diploma.
* BLS and Mandatory Reporter certification.
* Knowledge of clinical skill techniques, procedures, medical diagnoses, and treatments.
* Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
* A positive and team-oriented attitude.
* Ability to assist providers in professional manner.
