Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Transitional Open Heart Unit

Shift : Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36 hours per week

Length : 12 weeks

Requirements:
  • PA license
  • 1 year Acute Care Experience and/or experience congruent with role in service line
  • Progressive/step down experience; phlebotomy, IV starts, cardiac rhythm interpretation, drips (such as amiodarone, Cardizem, heparin, insulin), chest tube management, epidural/PCA management, fall prevention, pressure injury prevention
  • Graduate of accredited Nursing program
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA ACLS
  • AHA NIHSS
  • EMR - Epic
  • NRP and PALS preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Other Details:

  • 50 miles radius rule
  • PROOF of COVID & FLU vaccination or Declination
  • Requires a full Hep B series (3 doses) or positive Hep B antibody documentation
  • Unit Information: All patients are monitored on telemetry or portable hardwire
