MHPS is accepting applications for a Dyslexia Interventionist Paraprofessional

Salary Schedule: I-4; Contract Length: 178 days

Locations: Kindergarten, Nelson Wilks Herron Elementary

Qualification(s): Passing score on the ParaPro Praxis or have 60 college hours;

Apple Connections experience/training is preferred but not required;

Responsibilities include: willingness to attend Apple Connections training; receive training on the referral and response to intervention process for MHPS; goal setting and implementation of instructional plans; understanding that documentation of intervention services will be required and followed as outlined in the response to intervention process; collaborate with district Dyslexia Coordinator on student interventions, documentation, and assessments; communicate the progress and growth of Tier 2 and Tier 3 students to teachers and administrators on a regular basis.
