Performs routine laboratory tests in various sections of the laboratory.

Minimum Education

* AS degree in Medical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or other science specialty such as Biology, Chemistry, etc.
* Completion of NAACLS-accredited program or Board of Registry equivalent.
* Must possess education credentials necessary to satisfy CLIA '88 personnel testing qualifications for a high complexity laboratory.
* National certification/registration as MLS/CLS/MT via ASCP, AMT, NCA or HEW.
* Will consider board eligible graduate from a NAACLS-approved CLS or MT program.

Required Skills

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
