SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST with Security Clearance

Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the NAVFAC Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER
This position is part of the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC) Personnel Demonstration Project
The NT-03 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 through GS-13
This position has a control point equivalent to the GS-13 step 10 level
Duties
• You will lead a multi-functional team responsible for Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) planning and logistics management.
• You will resolve issues affecting the operational readiness in the areas of logistics and Supply Support to ensure warfighter objectives are met.
• You will communicate both in writing and speaking in order to clearly address issues and to convey appropriate course of action to resolve such issues

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics

Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 or NT-2 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ensuring the Capability Development Document (CDD) requirements for availability, reliability, sustainment, operations support cost, training and manpower are met; 2) Managing, monitoring, evaluating and coordinating the execution of Integrated Product Support (IPS) to ensure achievement of desired outcomes through development and implementation of appropriate product support arrangements; 3) Ensuring all program requirements have proper product support for relevant Expeditionary equipment and support throughout their life cycle; 4) Developing, justifying and executing the product support budget for product support programs as well as working any programmatic issues and ensure product support planning is synchronized with overall program plans; 5) Ensuring product support strategy elements are incorporated into acquisition documentation, procurement specifications, contracts and engineering documents; and 6) Managing product support activities including ensuring all operational usage data is collected, analyzed, and acted upon as required as well as oversee currency of product support strategies and establishes long term plans for major changes Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social)
