DESCRIPTION:
The Littlestown Area School District is seeking a highly qualified candidate for a School Psychologist position. Duties include but not limited to providing interventions and assessment in a K-12 setting. Qualified candidates should possess experience pertaining to psychological evaluations, standardized assessments, knowledge of the Multi-Tiered System of Support, and the ability to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents, evaluate/re-evaluate, prescribe, counsel and perform reasonably related functions ineorder to meet the needs of regular education students and those children who may need special designed instruction. Candidates must be able to manage an assessment caseload to maintain strict adherence to all assessment timelines pursuant to special education guidelines.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This is a contracted position to be determined in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Positions begin at the start of the 2024-2025 school year.
All candidates must submit the PA Standard Teaching Application, cover letter, resume, transcripts, evidence of proper Pennsylvania certification, documentation of Act 48 requirements, three letters of recommendation and current Act 34, Act 151 and Federal (FBI) Criminal History Clearances within one year.
