ASAPThe Merrimack High School is looking for dedicated and compassionate paraprofessionals to join their staff for the 2023/2024 school year.

Job Goal:
To support students and to implement Individual Educational Plans and other prescribed plans, under the direction of a certified teacher or licensed professional.

Responsibilities:
• Provide academic support
• Maintain communication and collaboration with students, parents, and staff
• Provide a safe environment
• Accommodate students medical/physical needs

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience and/or specialized training with individuals with special needs preferred
• May require further specialized training and/or skills in addition to specific school assignments.

Hours per day: 7.25 Following the school calendar with nights, weekends, holidays and summers off.
Days per week: 5
Days per year: 183
Salary is based on experience starting at $13.51 per hour. Opportunity to move up the wage scale with previous/comparable experience. There is also a $500 retention bonus paid in June of 2024.
