Willis-Knighton Bossier is seeking an experienced RN for our 10 bed ICU unit, which is both medical and surgical. The typical diagnosis includes: respiratory failure, sepsis, multi-system organ failure, renal failure, and post-op surgeries just to name a few. The job responsibilities include but not limited to: frequent hemodynamic monitoring, titration of vasopressors or vasodilators, maintaining ventilators, and maintaining invasive lines. The patient to nurse ratio is typically 2:1 and teamwork is highly encouraged. The typical schedule is a 5/2 rotation, working every other rotation and some holidays. ACLS is preferred and is available at our Training and Development Center at no cost to employees. A hospital wide orientation is required upon hire and orientation on the unit will be provided with a preceptor according to your experience. Apply here and come join our exciting team.
