Position Summary: The Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator Dialysis will be responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating patient care. The RN coordinates, delegates, provides direct nursing care for patients and oversees the daily functions of the Dialysis staff. The RN provides supervision for patient team members in accordance with their level of training and the patient#s acuity. Reports to Chief Nursing Officer. # Position Qualifications: Minimum Education: Associate Degree Nursing (ASN) Preferred Education: Bachelors Degree Nosing (BSN) Experience and Required Skills Hemodialysis and/or ICU experience Preferred Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) Preferred or obtained within 1 year of hiring Complete Tablo-Outset Education modules upon hiring and any other requirement for new employees such as Lippincott, etc. Required License/Registration: Registration and current WV RN license BLS certification ACLS # PALS required within one year of employment Physical Demands: Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers patients Prolonged, extensive or considerable standing/walking Lifts supplies/equipment Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching Working Conditions: Regularly exposed to the risk of Bloodborne diseases Contact with patients under a wide variety of circumstances Exposed to unpleasant elements (accidents, injuries and illness) Subject to varying and unpredictable situations Handles emergency or crisis situations May perform emergency care Travel required Subjected to irregular hours Pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries
